The Steamboat Springs Cemetery, established in 1882, offers a unique perspective on the people and events that shaped the town of Steamboat Springs and Routt County. Join renowned local historian, Jim Stanko, as he tells the stories and visits the graves of the prominent citizens, determined pioneers, and brave veterans that played an important role in Steamboat Springs’ history.
Directions- heading West on HWY 40 from downtown Steamboat Springs, take the first right on Conestoga after the stop light at the Steamboat Springs Community Center, then first left on Cemetery Rd. Look for parked cars and people gathered for the tour.
