Class Description: An active, on-your-feet approach to Shakespeare’s language and imagery. We will play games and work on characters and scenes from Shakespeare’s plays. The weeklong camp culminates with a performance sharing for friends and family. The focus of the class is on creative problem solving as an ensemble. The goal is to work together to find creative ways of staging Shakespeare’s plays

Teacher: Stuart Handloff – director, actor, and producer of the Piknik Theatre Festival with over 40 years of theatre experience. Will work with students in a small group format exploring acting and performance. Students will collaborate with the director to write and perform a play.
