Class Description: Most kids love to work up, work big and work in 3 dimensions. In this Young at Art Creativity Camp students will learn to make three dimensional art works with a variety of interesting materials like toothpicks and cardboard and things found in nature. Forming, carving, collage, gluing and sculpting techniques will be explored. Get ready to get messy in this hands on camp that uses imagination in all 3 dimensions.

Teacher: Neely Hachtel born in Missouri. BS from college of the ozarks. MFA from university of Missouri Columbia. Studied ceramic sculpture. Has a teaching certificate issued in Missouri for k-12 art. Have taught all ages from kindergarten through college. Taught art at the ymca and Kroc center in Hawaii during the summer of 2016. Loves hiking long distance trails and works in Anderson ceramics studio in steamboat as well as drives the free bus for the winter season.
