Jason Santucci at Riverwalk Collective Gallery – Steamboat Springs

JASON photography is inspired by the mountain west and the deserts of the southwest.

His first camera was an old box camera wrapped in a leather case that took 4” B&W photos. From that first camera to the Canon he uses today and every camera in between, he’s always set out with one thing in mind: to take a piece of the world laid out in front of him in the form of a photograph.

“In 2011, on the advice of a friend, I took a giant leap of faith and put a dozen of my photographs in the Steamboat Art Museum gift shop. After a surprisingly good response to those pictures, Jason Santucci photography was born. Soon after I was offered an opportunity to show my work in a gallery in downtown Steamboat. I feel very fortunate to call the Yampa Valley home and am thrilled to be able to share some of this magnificent scenery that surrounds me with all of you…just like I set out to do all those years ago.”
