$160 (Scholarships available)

Ages 7 – 12: Students will discover the joy of performance through daily theater exercises and a Friday performance for their families. This class will open a door to confidence and allow children to feel comfortable in front of people, which will transfer to school and their adult life! They will learn to have fun and work hard through play and performance. Students will realize they can be whomever they want. While working on scenes or theatrical exercise, they will have to make many problem solving decisions of how to react and to change the trajectory of an event they are practicing with a partner.

Scholarships are available! Visit steamboatcreates.org/yaa or call 970-879-9008 to inquire.

Teacher: Heidi Hamric is a 4th grade teacher at Strawberry Park. With an enthusiastic, positive approach, she encourages students to take risks in theatre to find their inner confidence. Her performing arts background features stage drama as well as improvisation.
