Ages 9 – 14: Your words matter. Whether you are writing horror, comedy, romance, fiction, non-fiction or essays, what you say and how you say it can change how people view the world. Learn techniques to make your writing more impactful. This week will include outdoor exploration, writing exercises, and other creative activities to inspire your voice to emerge on the paper!

Teacher: Dagny McKinley earned her MFA in Creative Writing from Naropa University. She has published 7 books and has toured from Colorado to Texas to California on book tours. Writing is her way of sharing her hopes, dreams, fears and insecurities with the world and hopes she can help others share their unique voice.
