November presents a wonderful opportunity to focus on the everyday gifts we receive, as long as we keep our eyes open. Through observation and practice, we will create small paintings from life that reflect those quiet moments and symbols of celebrations.

The class meets on two consecutive Mondays, giving us a chance to work in the week between classes and optimize our time together. We will take a step-by-step approach to creating strong compositions with fresh brush work. We will explore use of color and the importance of establishing strong values. Daily demonstrations and opportunities to experiment will be included.
