We offer a variety of camps and classes throughout the year from School Day Out to Summer Camps. These Camps give kids the opportunity to explore all their creative sides; drawing, painting, acting, movement, writing, 3D design, and more.
Summer Creativity Camp 2023- Registration OPEN
Please make sure to check all details in ACTIVE’s registration portal carefully before registering as the registration portal is the most current information. There are a few changes to the schedule that happen from time to time. Should you need it, you can find our cancellation/transfer/refund policy at the bottom of this page.
We now have a handful of camps that are already FULL. If you are on a waitlist, you will only receive an email if you are next in line and a spot opens up. You will have 24 hours to reply before we move on to the next in line. As the camp gets closer, that time frame gets shorter to respond.

Each week brings new themes and teachers with a variety of arts, movement, theater, and music expertise. From set design, to acting, from painting to sculpture, from designing to building, let your k-5th grader explore the world of creativity with professional guidance and fun activities. Morning camps run from 8:30 am-12 pm and afternoon camps run from 1-4:30. Campers who enroll in both the morning and afternoon camps will join other campers for a supervised lunch at the Depot Art Center or the Park.

Dive into a variety of creative adventures with Young at Art School Days Off! Campers will enjoy days full of fun, games, movement, and a healthy dose of creativity. Students will participate in a variety of arts and craft projects, group games, outdoor play, and exciting adventures. It’s an opportunity to unplug, enjoy hands-on learning, build confidence, collaboration, and try a plethora of new activities.
Cancelation and Refund Policies
School Day Out Camps
- We do not offer refunds for the cancellation of Young at Art School Day Out Camps.
- You may transfer your young artist into another Young at Art School Day Out Camp if the transfer request is made, in writing, at least 2 weeks prior to the enrolled camp. Transfers can only be made to another Camp within the same school year season.
Summer Camps
- Prior to June 1st, refunds can be given for Young at Art Summer Camps – minus a non-refundable $35 administration fee. Requests must be made in writing.
- You may transfer your young artist to another Young at Art Summer Camp, with the same cost, if there is space available and the transfer request is made in writing, prior to June 1. Transfers can only be made to another camp within the same Summer Camp season.
Steamboat Creates reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a Young at Art camp for any reason, including canceling a camp that does not meet minimum registration requirements or canceling a camp due to inclement weather. If SC cancels a camp, paid registrants will be given a full refund.
