Get Ready for a Totally Tubular Night of Laughter, Music, and Pure Steamboat Spirit!

For 43 years, Cabaret has been Steamboat’s favorite variety show, blending theater, music, dance, and comedy into a one-of-a-kind experience. What started as a grassroots effort by local artists to support Steamboat Creates has grown into a beloved tradition — a true rite of passage for anyone who loves the quirks and characters of the Yampa Valley.
This year, we’re cranking up the nostalgia with an 80s-themed extravaganza! Get ready for big laughs, even bigger hair, and a night packed with rad performances that will have you totally stoked. We’re inviting everyone to join in the fun by rocking their best 80s attire — think neon, leg warmers, and shoulder pads galore!
Expect sharp-witted satire, side-splitting performances, and unforgettable moments, all in support of the arts. Cabaret is one of Steamboat Creates’ biggest fundraisers, helping fuel arts education, public art, collaborations, exhibitions, ArtWalks, and more.
And this year, we’re bringing Cabaret back to the Depot Art Center! There’s no place like home, and we can’t wait to fill the space with music, laughter, and pure Steamboat energy. Rated PG-13.
Get your tickets now and let’s party like it’s 1985!
Want to support the arts and catch a totally rad show for free? We’re looking for volunteers to help with a variety of tasks during this year’s 80s-themed Cabaret! In exchange for your time, you’ll get to watch the show for free, score a drink ticket, and be part of one of Steamboat’s favorite community traditions. It’s a great way to support a good cause and have a blast doing it. 80s attire is encouraged — come ready to work and rock those leg warmers!
