Students will create several projects designed to exercise their imagination during the first three weeks of class. They will learn how to wedge and hand build with clay using slab, coil, and pinch techniques. Kids will also learn multi-step decorating and glazing techniques for their pieces in the last two classes. All clay work will be fired to 2150 degrees Fahrenheit for use in the home and kitchen if desired.
