For ages 8 – 13: Students will create an array of animals, real and imaginative, using a variety of art techniques and materials. Students will learn about different cultures, their art forms, and how they traditionally depicted animals. Some of these include collage/Molas (Panama), Aboriginal painting (Australia), and sculpture/Alebrijes (Mexico). Students will work in groups to create a story about where their critter creations live, what they eat, and how they interact.
