Emerald opened in downtown Steamboat this summer realizing our vision of offering “clean” food in a coffee shop with a touch of worldliness and sophistication while being down to earth and embodying the positive energy of Emerald Mountain. Our focus is on organic, fair-trade, high-quality and healthyish food and drink without stabilizers, cheap oil and milk, pesticides, sugar, etc. Our byline is “Wake Up, Recharge, Celebrate” – and to that end we offer morning & afternoon drinks (coffee, tea, smoothies, and speciality drinks), house-baked treats made with monk fruit-based sweetener & lower carb almond flour, as well as other light food (including baked authentic artisanal samosas), and a selection of sparkling wines, beers and cocktails as well as high-end caviar and other gourmet appetizers and desserts. Come check us out and try our “famous” apple-zucchini bread and soon-to-be famous mimosas!
We have always been about supporting talented people and worthy organizations, so joining the First Friday Artwalk was right up our alley. We are currently displaying both watercolor and oil paintings from Madeleine Burrough and landscape photography from Robert Prosser.
