We will begin by creating stamps and sprigs for use on slab-built forms. Simple plaster forms will be used to create bowls and trays, textured with our own hand-made stamps. We will also create cylindrical forms including cups, bottles and fun flasks. Students will have the opportunity to create a pinch-pot sculptural sphere/rattle and possibly a coil-built pot, depending on timing. Work will be fired for functional use if desired.
