Join Riverwalk Collective artist Dan Rosenbaum for an introduction to the ancient art of lost-wax bronze casting. The workshop begins with a brief presentation exploring the bronze casting process—from wax model to finished sculpture—followed by a hands-on session creating original sculptures in wax. Participants will learn techniques used by professional sculptors while creating their own small wax forms in a fun, supportive environment.

One of the joys of working with wax is that it’s incredibly forgiving. Shapes can be cut, melted, reshaped, and reattached, making it easy to experiment, play, and discover new ideas as you work. Whether you’re interested in sculpture, curious about bronze casting, or simply looking to try something new, this workshop offers a creative and approachable introduction to the process.

No prior sculpture experience is required, and all materials will be provided. Participants are encouraged to bring their own safety glasses if they have them; a limited number of pairs will also be available. Ages 10 and up; participants ages 10–15 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
