Young at Art Creativity Camps

Young at Art Creativity Camps offer joyful, hands-on art experiences for ages 5–15—where creativity, confidence, and community grow together. Through inclusive, movement-based and multi-sensory activities, children explore art in a playful, supportive environment.


Registration for summer camp starts at 7:00 AM on March 1, 2026.

2025-26 School Day Off Camps

Join us this school year to explore your creativity during those pesky days when school is not in session. Dates are limited, Scholarships are available. All SDO camps are designed for 6-12-year-olds.

All School Days Off Camps are full days from 8:30 AM-4:30 PM. Campers should provide their own lunch.


Cancellation and Refund Policies

School Day Out Camps 

  • We do not offer refunds for the cancellation of Young at Art School Day Out Camps
  • You may transfer your young artist into another Young at Art School Day Out Camp if the transfer request is made, in writing, at least 2 weeks prior to the enrolled camp. Transfers can only be made to another School Day Off Camp within the same school year season.

Summer Camps

  • Before May 21st, refunds can be given for Young at Art Summer Camps – minus a non-refundable $35 administration fee if notification is at least two weeks prior to the camp start. Requests must be made in writing.
  • After May 21st, no refunds will be given for cancellations.
  • You may transfer your young artist to another Young at Art Camp, in the same season, for no cost (unless there are additional camp fee) as long as there is space and the transfer request is made in writing 14 days piror to the start date of camp. Each camper is allowed up to 2 free transfers per summer.
  • Steamboat Creates does not refund or prorate camps for limited attendance.

Steamboat Creates reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a Young at Art camp for any reason, including canceling a camp that does not meet minimum registration requirements or canceling a camp due to inclement weather. If SC cancels a camp, paid registrants will be given a full refund.


Camp Scholarships/Becas de campamento

Scholarships are available for our School Days Out and Summer Creativity Camps. Please fill out the application below and send it to programs@steamboatcreates.org for consideration.

Scholarships must be approved before registering for camp in Active. We are not able to award a scholarship after you have already registered for camp in Active. Scholarships are only available for the requested camps on the application, scholarship awards are not transferable between camps.
