This two-day hands-on experience will provide guided instruction on making hand-built Ocarinas. Ocarinas belong to an ancient family of woodwind instruments that date back thousands of years all over the world. The Maya and Aztec cultures produced clay ocarinas, often shaped like birds or animals, for musical and ceremonial purposes. We will discover approachable hand-building methods to create these magical little instruments. Have you ever wanted to let the clay tell you what it wants to be?
