The community is invited to a special evening of reflection, singing, and gathering as we honor Ute Indian culture and celebrate the public art of nationally renowned Indigenous sculptor Oreland Joe


5:00 PM | Bear Dance Ceremony & Dedication Civic Plaza, Downtown Steamboat Springs

Join us outdoors at Civic Plaza for a Bear Dance Ceremony and the dedication of Oreland Joe’s new public sculpture. This is a moment of cultural reverence and community witness — all are welcome.

6:30 PM | Community Reception & Potluck Depot Art Center

Following the ceremony, gather with neighbors at the Depot Art Center for food, conversation, and community. This is a potluck — please bring a dish to share.
